Purpose

The tremendous advances in wireless communications and mobile computing, combined with the rapid evolution in smart appliances and devices, generates new challenges and problems requiring interactions between different network layers and applications in order to offer advanced mobile services.

This conference is the fifth in a series of annual conferences: three times in Montréal (QC), Canada in 2005 and 2006, in New York, USA in 2007 and the latest (2008) in Avignon, France.

We invite researchers, practitioners and others interested in wireless communications, mobile networking and ubiquitous computing to participate to the fifth IEEE International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Computing, Networking and Communications (WiMob 2009) to be held in KENZI FARAH HOTEL, Marrakech, Morocco, on October 12th-14th, 2009.
